Bi-Monthly Recap: Dec-Jan

Life lately
The first month of the new year is almost done! January has felt incredibly fast and slow all at the same time. Work has been a struggle (what else is new) and I miss the city and being able to meet up with friends there before or after work. But I think working from home this month has been a good way to reset and get some much needed R&R.

I've hung out with my two best friends who live in NJ. My superintendent finally decided to fix and paint pretty much all my ceilings (so many cracks and dark spots!), not to mention repainted my entire bathroom. The fresh coat of paint has just breathed new life into the apartment. And it was nice because my uncle hung out with me during the two days my place was getting worked on and after the painter was done, we cleaned everything from top to bottom. A super clean living space makes me very happy! Then I've been spending time with family, pampering myself with manicures and massages, playing a lot of Animal Crossing (my island is done!), and just trying to get into a good routine. Next month I return to the office and hopefully returning to a slightly more normal again, since omicron seems to be finally slowing down. I'm excited to see what next month will bring.
