Life lately
Even though I'm totally a summer gal, November and December are two of my favorite months because.. holidays! I love Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and all the plans made with family and friends during that time. That's kind of what I'm trying to focus on right now. Setting up dinners, shopping for presents (and for myself) and bracing myself for the cold weather. Thanksgiving kind of crept up on me unexpectedly. It was one of those "OMG it's next week?!" type of moments. And a lot of friends and co-workers were expressing the same sentiment. I do not want to feel that way about Christmas. I want to be ready for it and most importantly of all, I want to savor it!

On the blog
I read 2 fantasy books last month, which include: Geist by Philippa Ballantine and Royal Tour (Potions #2) by Amy Alward. It was a slow month for me reading-wise but I'm glad I got these two in at least!
