April Recap + Flights of Fantasy Update

I'm having a hard time processing that it's already May. How is this possible? But on the plus side, we are getting closer and closer to warmer weather so I can't help but feel happy about that. This month I settled further into the new job and went on a short vacation to San Francisco that provided me with a lot of unexpected clarity. More on that to come soon. (I think.)

Anyway, here's what April has been like on the blog:

Book Reviews

LOVED / Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler, Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid, 99 Days by Katie Cotugno, After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Lynburn Legacy series by Sarah Rees Brennan

REALLY LIKED / The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things by Ann Aguirre, OCD Love Story by Corey Ann Haydu, Aimee and the Heartthrob by Ophelia London, Love, Lucas by Chantele Sedgwick

I LIKED IT / Things We Know By Heart by Jessi Kirby, The Secrets We Keep by Trisha Leaver

IT WAS OKAY / Denton Little's Deathdate by Lance Rubin, Finding Paris by Joy Preble

... Everything Else

BOOKISH / Stacking the Shelves (21), Short & Sweet (4), Jump for Jojo: Me Before YouBookBags (25): What's in Kelly's Bag?

I didn't read a single fantasy book this month! I know, I know. I suck. I'll make up for it next month though. In the meantime, it's been great seeing everyone using the #flightsoffantasy hashtag on Twitter and keeping up with their reads. Next month, I'm hoping to read The Last Unicorn and The Son of Shadows by Juliet Marillier.
How are you all doing on your challenge?
(Hopefully better than me!)

  1. I was going to comment on how April was pretty awesome, but then I saw what you said you wanted to read for Flights of Fantasy. Read Son of the Shadows, woman! You're going to enjoy that one, I think. ;)
