November Recap + Flights of Fantasy Update

This has been a difficult month for me but there have been some highlights that I'm choosing to focus on. I saw Sara Bareilles' one night only concert of all the songs from the upcoming musical Waitress with Estelle. Alexa and I drove to Pennsylvania to meet up with Kelly and Betty to go book shopping and have lunch. (A & I also binge-watched Flesh & Bone that weekend.) Thanksgiving was bittersweet but I loved spending it with my big family (my relatives from California and Chicago were in town). Then one of my best friends, Mary Ann, and I went Black Friday shopping at the outlets starting late Thursday night and we didn't get home until 5:30 in the morning. Crazy? Possibly. Worth it? Totally. But in the spite of the fun, I'm ready for a new month and diving in the holiday season.

Anyway, here's what November has been like on the blog:

  2. You know I love you <3 I'm always happy when we get to go off on adventures together, and it was so fun that we were able to meet up with Betty and Kelly and just really hang out. Plus, it didn't hurt that I had a pretty awesome bargain bookstore haul ;)
