February Recap + Flights of Fantasy Update

It's been a rollercoaster kind of month. Lots of highs but just as many lows. I need a month with absolutely no lows! And preferably no snow either. But as always, I will focus on the positives. I reviewed some pretty great books, went to a fun author panel at Books of Wonder, participated in a couple blog tours and went to see a ballet. Plus I booked a trip to San Francisco with my cousin! If nothing else, I have what I know will be an amazing trip to look forward to in April.

Anyway, here's what February has been like on the blog:

Hello fantasy lovers! Again, Alexa and I are in awe of the number of people who have signed up and continue to use the hashtag, #flightsoffantasy. Seriously, you guys are great! It's been fun keeping up with everyone's progress.

As far as my own progress goes, I only read two fantasy books this month but man, were they good. Like you must read them as soon as possible kind of good. They were: Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier and The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows.
How are you all doing on your challenge?
Feel free to link to any of your #FlightsofFantasy updates

  2. I was so jealous of your New York City Ballet post because I want to go back to New York and watch a production so bad! When I went to New York with my family a couple of years ago, I was begging to watch a Broadway musical or a ballet. Unfortunately, my dad has zero appreciation for these kinds of things so we ended up going to Madame Tussauds instead. *sigh*

Looks like you had a great February, Rachel! Have a happy March! :)

  3. You read two seriously awesome fantasy novels for February, R! (And obviously, these two are on my favorites list. So happy you loved them!) And yes, here's to hoping March is a month with less/no lows and less/no snow!
