Links + Loves

Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / According to Insider, "Millennial pink and Gen Z yellow captured their generation's economic struggles. Now it's purple's turn." and I couldn't be happier about that! Although in general, I love that each of my favorite colors are getting their turn in the spotlight.

2 / As someone who can sometimes get a little too set in their routine, I related to this Verily contributor's post about how she's learned to adapt when she "can't keep up with all the things". I think we've all been here.

3 / Lauren Conrad put together a list of 5 wardrobe items to invest in and I totally agree. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect cashmere sweater and recently, white button down (but I have items that are very close to perfect!).

4 / I love, love, love the music segments on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and recently, Kate Hudson did a doo-wop cover of Ariana Grande's 7 Rings, which I think needs to be released on Spotify. Also.. there's no way this is totally impromptu, right?! It was too perfect to not be rehearsed.

5 / I'm in my late 30s and I still absolutely love Hello Kitty (please don't judge me!). So when I saw that they did a collab with makeup line Pixi, I had to buy a few things.

6 / I wish I could read this article on The Times but alas, you need a subscription, so I settled for reading the detailed Twitter thread the author shared. It's about being 37, thinking she'll be single forever, and being totally okay with that.

7 / I've mentioned before that I've been rewatching One Tree Hill along with Drama Queens podcast, run by none other than Hilarie Burton, Sophia Bush, and Bethany Joy Lenz. It's been so much fun to revisit this show and hear their current reactions, not to mention the behind-the-scenes scoop. There was a New York Times article on them recently and if you're a fan, I highly recommend giving it a read.

Loves

1 /
I swapped out one of my face serums for the Skinceuticals Discoloration Defense one and wow, it's been a week and I swear I see a difference.

2 / I take care of my bags, especially the luxury designer ones, but I recently decided to take it a step further by ordering liners and shaper pillows. So far only the latter has arrived and I don't know why I didn't do this sooner! I got one for my Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag (plus another bag I'll talk about soon) and it is a game changer.

3 / I live on the second floor of an apartment and while I'm guaranteed parking, I don't have a specific spot. Which means sometimes I've got to carry my groceries a long way. A few weeks ago I bought this cart from Amazon and I think it is a such great buy for fellow renters.
