Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / The Everywhereist wrote this post entitled, "The Fear Of Feeling Hopeful, Post-Vaccination" and it basically sums up how I feel these days.

2 / You all know (or should know!) about my love of Joshua Jackson that pretty much started with watching Mighty Ducks and was solidified by Dawson's Creek. He and his wife Jodie Smith are SO cute together and she recently talked about how their relationship started. Totally worth a read but I have to call out one quote, which was what she thought when she first saw him: "I want that." (Girl, don't we all!)

3 / I was born in 1983 and while I technically am a millennial, I don't really feel like one. Then I heard about a sub-set of millennials termed "xennials" which I thought sounded right. Well, apparently there's a brand new name for this subset of millennials born between 1980-85 and it's "geriatric millennials". Geriatric? Really? Terminology aside, this article was spot on.

4 / Cupcake and Cashmere's thoughts on applying a "choosing happiness" motto to her life seems so simple but it can be harder than it sounds when you have stress weighing you down and feeling like you have a million things to do but never enough time. I'm definitely guilty of that and this was a great reminder to try and choose a different perspective.

5 / I didn't watch the iheartradio awards but when I heard about The Weeknd and Ariana Grande's performance of "Save Your Tears," I had to check it out. I've watched it like four times since! They're so good live and perform so well together!

6 / Wit & Whimsy shared her honest review of the Instagram-famous "Nap dress by Hill House Home" and even though I'm still very tempted to get one (which I might during their next drop on June 12), it was good to reset my expectations because I'm not sure it'll fit my almost 5ft frame.

7 / Is anyone else super excited for The Eternals? The trailer dropped last week and it looks like it's going to be epic!

1 /
I recently got into headbands and one of my favorite ones right now is this one from Target, which I didn't realize was for kids, lol. It was in the women's accessories section!

2 / Ever since I stopped get eyelash extensions during the pandemic, I've been trying so many different mascaras and I finally found the one! It's by Shu Uemura, which is the same brand I've been getting my eyelash curler from for YEARS.

3 / I had never heard of the brand Beekman 1802 until I started following Amy Chang on Instagram. She said their products were great for sensitive skin and redness. I love all three products! I do recommend going with the starter kit to see how your skin reacts before buying full-sizes, which is exactly what I did!
