Links + Loves

Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / Vanity Fair shared this really interesting editorial on whether the current situation could mark the end of influencers and I think it's a valid question. I don't know if they'll completely go away but some of the ones I followed made some questionable decisions which then led me to unfollow them.

2 / If you're looking for supplies and/or masks, I've been checking this Refinery29 post and The Supply Finder.

3 / I've been a long time on and off follower of World of Wanderlust and Brook Saward, the person behind the blog, recently posted a timeline of buying a house, some of the different moves she's made and her business ventures. I had no idea she did so much! I really impressed.

4 / Did you all watch the Disney Family sing-along? I didn't watch live but I looked up the clips afterwards and my three favorites were: Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera and Tori Kelly.

5 / I've mentioned this before but I'm not someone who experiences anxiety. I'll get stressed but rarely anxious.. until recently, which I'm sure we all can relate to. Cupcakes and Cashmere discusses "secret anxiety behaviors" while The Everygirl made a list of "5 exercises that can help relieve anxiety."

6 / I am obsessed with this super cute dancing couple, Alison Holker and Twitch Boss. They have such a great, positive energy and they host live dance workouts on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I've been doing them for the last couple of weeks and it's so fun!

7 / One of my pet peeves at work (especially now) is an overabundance of meetings; time that could be better spent doing actual work instead of talking about it. On Medium, there was a post called "Less talkie, talkie — more designy, designy" that did a great job of summing up the problem. Even though it's targeted at designers, I think it applies across different industries!

Loves

1 / I caved into the hype of the Billie razor mostly out of curiosity (and their cute packaging) but it's great! It's super affordable and convenient.

2 / Since my dining table in my work station and my "work from home" essentials list was starting to grow, I needed a better desktop organizer. This one from Amazon is budget friendly and cute!

3 / I recently bought this initial necklace from Bracha and I'm loving it! The pendant itself is a bit bigger than my usual jewelry but it's a good balance between making a statement and still feeling dainty. I did manage to snag mine from Nordstrom for 30% off during a sale so keep checking if you don't want to pay full price.
