June Recap + Flights of Fantasy Update

June is one of my favorite months of the year and not just because it’s my birthday month. I love the start of summer. I always feel energized to make a ton of plans. I get to wear dresses most of the time. I can wear sandals instead of boots. It’s still light out at 8pm. A friend of mine recently said that she must be solar-powered because she’s just happier when the sun is out. And that’s exactly how I feel.

It’s been a busy month for me, especially these last couple of weeks and I’m looking forward to more of the same. But also more days and weekends where I can bum around and relax.

Anyway, here's what June has been like on the blog:

I only read one fantasy book this month and while that number isn't exactly impressive, the book I read was! If The Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson isn't on your TBR yet, add it! I was happily surprised by this sequel and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Now for the important part! We're excited to announce our first set of winners for the mid-year giveaway! Winner #1 is Alicia of Awesome Book Assessment and Winner #2 is Joanne of Littlequeen Rules. Congratulations ladies!

How are you all doing on your challenge?
(Hopefully better than me!)

  1. Hooray for June! It's just so much better when the sun is out and the days are longer; I know I'm much less grumpy and I feel like being out most of the time. Summer is my favorite <3 Here's to hoping July is amazing!
