Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / When I have time to start up the apartment projects I have planned, it'll definitely involve a trip to IKEA and knowing me, buying plants. PopSugar posted "100+ Affordable Ikea Plants For Every Plant Parent — No Green Thumb Required" and it's like they wrote it just for me. (I'm really bad at keeping plants alive.)

2 / Emily of Cupcakes & Cashmere, Mandy Moore and their group of girlfriends seem to have the cutest girls' trip together and they're finally sharing the details. I was seriously inspired by what they had to say, especially the coordinated outfits part.

3 / I watched Ariana Grande and 'NSync's Coachella performance a lot.

4 / I'm posting yet another BFF breakup story, this time from The Everygirl, and they seriously get me every time. I think it's because there's still a bit of a stigma around it, despite how common it is. Like we all need a reminder that letting go isn't a bad thing or make you the bad guy if you decided enough was enough.

5 / This article from The Atlantic claiming "The Instagram Aesthetic is Over" was a hot topic among my friends and I last week. We've all had our frustrations with Instagram (that stupid algorithm) but I don't know if any of us feel the "Instagram aesthetic" is over per se. My opinion is that people don't want to see the same photos over and over again and want to hear genuine voices. (I say this and yet it feels like the same kind of pictures get the most likes so what do I know!)

6 / My Creative Type according to Adobe Create's quiz is The Dreamer. My creative strengths are: connection to emotions and imagination, empathy and sympathy.

7 / I started watching The Magicians on a whim and while the first two seasons were a frustrating at times, I was very into the show. Then season 3 happened and I fell totally in love with it. And then season 4 happened and continued to be awesome and subversive until.. the season finale. PopSugar was particularly vocal about it and shared a thoughtful, smart piece that explains one of the many reasons I took issue with how season 4 ended.

Loves

1 / If you watched Avengers: Endgame and didn't cry multiple times, laugh or gasp out loud then I don't know what to tell you. A week later and I'm still thinking about it! It was the perfect ending to the MCU.

2 / I usually try not to have ice cream in the freezer because I will eat it every day, all by myself, until it's all gone. But I was really craving ice cream so I got the Trader Joe's Speculoos Cookie Butter ice cream and it's so good! I'll need stock up again soon.

3 / I've tweeted about David Tennant's podcast but it's worth mentioning on here how much I love it. I've realized that the interviewer/narrator's voice and style of communication plays a huge role for me and I could listen to this man talk for hours.
