Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / I've recently heard some false things said about eyelash extensions by bloggers on Instagram and it started to make me doubt what I knew! I've been getting lashes for two years at a place I really trust (Lure Lash!) and they've been honest about answering my questions. Byrdie breaks down the eyelash extension myths people need to stop believing, which 100% aligns with what I know.

2 / I'm a new follower of Carly the Prepster but I'm definitely the plan! Her post about buying her first Chanel bag is actually more about her relationship with money and saving habits, which I found so interesting!

3 / I love all things David Tennant so when I heard he was coming out with a podcast, I couldn't be more excited. I've listened to 4 episodes so far and just need to catch up on this past week's but I love it.

4 / On The EveryGirl, this writer shared her experience about falling in love with her guy best friend and how she felt in the aftermath of him rejecting her. I had a similar experience and I related to a lot of what she had to say.

5 / Dame Traveler posted "5 Little Tricks to Make Smartphone Photos Look Beautiful" and it reminded to turn my grid back on and other little nuances I completely forgot about.

6 / It's so funny, I was just talking about being a bridesmaid with friends when Cup of Jo posted the question of whether or not to have bridesmaids. (Personally I'm in favor of it but if the time ever times, I'd want to keep it very small!)

7 / FabFitFun noticed a new color trend (I noticed too!) and it's one of my favorite colors.

8 / An old article on LinkedIn resurfaced this past week and I feel like I've been thinking and saying all this since I started working! It's called "Really - Always leave the office on time" and I couldn't agree more.

9 / Grey's Anatomy just made history by being the longest running medical show and The Hollywood Reporter did a great feature on it.

Loves

1 / I learned about Coola Mineral Liplux through Chrissy Teigen and it's become a daily staple. It's a lip balm with SPF and just the perfect hint of color.

2 / I have about 5 different iPhone cases that I like to rotate through. Or at least I was rotating them until I bought this watercolor map case in December. I haven't used anything else since!

3 / I'd been looking for leather flat booties for months but when I couldn't find anything, I eventually got suede ones instead. Then I saw these Blondo Tami waterproof beauties on Nordstrom. They arrived this past week and I've already worn them twice! They're exactly what I wanted.

  1. I love Carly's post! I think it's such a great conversation about personal finances (which is definitely something I'm working on myself), and it really has me thinking about my financial goals.

I'm also a big fan of leaving the office on time because it's just better for your health and spirits in all ways!
