Summer Bucket List

Ever since I made my first summer bucket list two years ago, it's become a tradition I look forward to. It's one thing to think about the things I want to do and another to actually sit down and write a list. Writing lists always makes things more real to me. It spurs me into action. And if there's one thing I love, it's making plans for the summer.

Like every year, I'll share my list today and at the end of summer (which I don't even want to imagine right now), I'll post a check-in to show what I managed to do.

Go to a photography class/meetup
Plan a long weekend getaway
Read 3 classics
Try 5 new ice cream places in NYC
Go horseback riding
Book a trip for the fall
Go to a festival (could be food, music, anything!)
Watch a movie outdoors
Visit something in NYC I've never seen before
Try 1 recipe from my Anne of Green Gables cookbook
Disconnect from my phone/Internet for one day
Attend Shakespeare in the Park
Do one thing outside my comfort zone

What do you want to do this summer?

  2. I love this idea! I feel like it would be great to get me out of my comfort zone as I'm such a home body.

  3. YAY SUMMER BUCKET LIST! I can't wait to see what you decide to put on it for 2020 - and maybe I'll make one of my own too :)
