BookBags (41): Roald Dahl 100 Blog Tour (+ Giveaway!)

Monthly feature where I pair books with bags or share what's in a bag (mine or otherwise!) est. 4/2013.

I grew up loving Roald Dahl books like Matilda, James and the Giant Peach and The Witches so I was honored to have Wunderkind PR reach out to me to join the Roald Dahl 100 Celebratory Blog Tour! Yesterday, Roald Dahl would've turn 100 (hence the blog tour!) and each blogger will be showing their appreciation for one of his books in their own way.

Matilda was the second book of Dahl's that I read and the one I unsurprisingly loved the most. I'm featuring it for this month's BookBags as I pair cute purses with different editions!

[starting top left, clockwise]

Edition I had as a kid + Stella McCartney Falabella Mini Tote Bag | I love that yellow cover and I love this yellow tote. It's on my want-to-buy-someday list.

Edition I own now + Kate Spade Expand Your Horizon resin ship clutch | I bought this a few years ago because I couldn't find my original copy of Matilda. The clutch isn't something I would typically use but I can't deny that the colors are perfect!

New edition from Penguin Young Readers/Puffin + Givenchy Antigona Mini Box Calfskin Satchel Bag | The new paperbacks they're releasing in honor of Dahl's 100th birthday are so cute! I love the pops of color on each one. So when I saw this Givenchy bag (another one on my want-to-buy list, although not in this color), I couldn't resist matching it.
