Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / The Moulin Rouge in Paris has been turned into an Airbnb and I think that is such a cool idea! I saw a show there the first time I was in Paris and then I only saw the outside during my last trip but spending the night there sounds like an unforgettable experience.

2 / Hearing from EW that Joshua Jackson is the biggest Pacey & Joey fan comes as no surprise, but it's still nice to hear him talk about it!

3 / I remember seeing Suchin Pak on MTV as a teenager and as an adult, I became a fan of hers through her podcast, Add to Cart.  Marie Claire shared an excerpt from a story she wrote for a new book called My Life: Growing Up Asian in America. I highly recommend reading the excerpt.

4 / Have you finished watching Stranger Things Season 4? I finished over the long weekend and this article from The Ringer, "The ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Mythology Guide: Questions, Answers, and Theories" is a must read.

5 / I've been pretty curious about the Hatch Restore as someone who probably needs to consistently get better sleep and Carly's review is tempting me to buy it.

6 / Whoa, I love this summer finances article from The Everygirl! This line in particular stood out to me: "Much like makeup and fashion trends are swapped out each season, budgets need to be as well." I never really thought of it like that but it makes sense! As the article rightfully stated, summer is the second most expensive season after the winter holidays and that is certainly true for me.

7 / I am always so impressed when people create and actually follow a seasonal wardrobe capsule. Fashion Jackson has created a great one and while I just don't think this is something I can do at this moment in my life (where my relationship with clothes and my body isn't so great), I am inspired to give this a try one day.

Loves

1 /
I stopped using my Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer and Styler because it was too hot for my hair (and even my skin as it neared my face/scalp/hands) and super loud but I was more worried about the former damaging my hair. Thanks to Instagram, I found out about L'ange Le Volume and after two days of using it, I am a convert. My hair is less frizzy because of the titanium plating, it's a bit quieter, and while it does get hot enough to dry my hair quickly, I never feel like I might accidentally burn myself.

2 / I wish I had this bag from Morning Lavender before my trip to Turks & Caicos! It's an ingenious tote bag which is super roomy but provides a convenient way to carry a beach hat. I hope to get some use out of it this summer!

3 / I'd been meaning to get a new curling iron because the cheap one I bought years ago wasn't really cutting it anymore. I decided to give the T3 SinglePass Curl 1.25" a try and it's great! It's easy to use, heats up quickly, and I do think my hair is holding the curl better with this.
