Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

1 / I knew that with my promotion/bonus, I would be splurging on a designer bag as a gift to myself. And at first, I was aiming for my long-coveted Chanel Classic Flap until the price went up yet again (that's twice in less than a year!). The medium size is now close to $7K and I just couldn't. But I was curious to know how other people felt about the increase and found this great article on PurseBlog from 2019 that summed up how I felt.

2 / My love for AOC started pretty late but I now follow her on both Twitter and Instagram and I truly appreciate how real she is. I frequently tune in to her IG Live's and Variety recently did a post talking about the power of her using that forum to connect with people.

3 / Skirt the Rules reviewed the famous Amazon coat to see if it was worth the hype and the answer is yes! The coat she models in her review is the exact same one I've had for 2+ years now and I can attest to how great it is.

4 / As someone who's gone through multiple friendship breakups, I'm glad to see more women opening up about this and sharing their own experiences. With Love from Kat recently talked about what it felt like to break up with a friend she's known for 20+ years and I could definitely relate.

5 / I stopped following Love, Taza on Instagram during the pandemic but I forgot I was still subscribed to her blog! Anyway, this post about her love for the color yellow with a list of a few of her favorite things in that color was just something I couldn't resist checking. (Yellow is one of my favorite colors too so this was total clickbait for me!)

6 / Cup of Jo posted “We Talked to Hundreds of People About Sex, and Two Things Struck Us” and here's what struck me: there is no normal. Meaning that society and media often project that by a certain age, you should've had this and that experience already. But this article showed me that we're all following our own path, to not feel pressured, and most importantly, to listen to your body and don't be afraid to ask questions.

7 / The Everygirl shared their favorite Black-owned accessory brands in honor of Black History Month and my eyes went straight to the bags and jewelry! I might have to do a bit of shopping later!

1 /
My best friend Carina gave me this BKR water bottle last year (I think? I have no sense of time anymore) and it's recently become my go-to while working at home.

2 / I hopped on the Animal Crossing bandwagon and the obsession is real. It's only been a week and I am totally sucked into it.

3 / I like having a few iPhone cases to choose from. I already had two but when I saw this, I could not resist. I love the Horse in Bloom print from Casetify! It's super sturdy without being bulky and the print is even prettier in person!
