What's in My Bag?

For the newbies: From 2013-2017, I had a BookBags feature where I paired books with bags and in the middle of that, I introduced What's in my Bag as a subset of that feature where I shared what's in my bag and invited other bloggers to guest post too. I'm so excited to bring this feature back this year (2019)!

It only taken me five months but in July, I started to go out cautiously to places beyond just my dad's house or walking to the park. Now I'll make the occasional trip to Target or the Asian supermarket, attend church with my dad, or venture out beyond my hometown to hang out outdoors with my cousins or friends. Which means, my bag collection is actually get some use these days and I thought it might be fun to do a What's in my Bag post because: (1)  I love the bag I'm about to share, (2) what I carry around with me has changed in a lot of ways, and (3) for the first time I don't have a book included since most of my reading is done at home!

The Bag

Gucci Ophidia GG Small Shoulder Bag | I bought this bag at the beginning of the year and within the first week of owning it, I knew it was going to become one of the most-used bags in my collection. And I was right! I just love the style. The classic stripe gives it a vintage feel and it immediately elevates any outfit I pair it with. It can be worn crossbody or over the shoulder but the former works best for me. It's also surprisingly well-priced for a Gucci bag.

The Necessities

Chanel Classic Zipped Coin Purse | I haven't used any other wallet since I got this one in Paris over a year ago.

AirPods | I decided to switch from a silicone case to a metal one since the gold would match my stuff more. (I am so extra, I know.)

Key ring bracelet | I love key ring bracelets! My old one broke so I replaced it with this tortoise one (I'm a sucker for this pattern) and please note the huge no-touch/contactless tool I also got from Amazon.

Stoney Clover Classic Mini Pouch | During my birthday month, I impulsively splurged on Stoney Clover items. Their stuff is SO cute and definitely high quality but it's rather pricey. I got this mini pouch customized with a pastel embroidery patch. It carries all the usual stuff (lip balm, lipstick, lotion, etc), but I also pack anti-bacterial wipes now and they fit in there nicely.

Face masks | Obviously, I always have face masks on me. I got this anti-bacterial face mask case from Amazon, where I keep a spare disposable mask and then I store whatever cloth mask I decide to wear that day in it too until I'm ready to put it on. (Pictured mask is from Tie Bar!)

Hand sanitizer | Both the case and sanitizer is from Bath & Body Works.

  1. I do think this bag is really cute, though I don't think I'd pull it off nearly as well as you ;) And you've definitely got the pandemic essentials down too!
