Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / Finding people at work or even a single person that you can talk to freely makes a huge difference in your work environment. It certainly does for me! I really liked what The Cut had to say about what to do "when you feel left out at work".

2 / Self shared the story of a woman who went on a "solomoon" before her wedding and she's kind of my hero. Even if I ever get married, I'm going on a solomoon too!

3 / I am a huge, huge fan of The Bucket List Family and of Nina Dobrev's. Seeing them (via Instagram and their weekly video!) go on a vacation together with other friends, living on a ship in Indonesia for a week was weird, super cool and very inspiring.

4 / Apartment Therapy posted "How American Girl Dolls Would Decorate If They Lived in Studio Apartments". Samantha was always my favorite and her apartment is so me.

5 / How can you start the new year and not think about resolutions? Dame Traveler shares "10 Travel Resolutions" while Thought Catalog shares "19 Things I Promise To Do for Myself in 2019". ALL these things should be on everyone's lists.

6 / I'm about to admit something pretty big but.. I hate the movie Love, Actually. So when I saw The Everywhereist post "Every Relationship In Love, Actually, Listed In Order of How Dysfunctional They Are." I felt so seen.

7 / If you follow me on Twitter, then you've seen me tweet about bingeing The Magicians. I'll share more in-depth thoughts on the show soon but if you haven't watched, let this amazing clip from Season 3 convince you to (I don't think it's that spoilery).

Loves
1 / There's something really wonderful about taking the time to write down what you're grateful for every single day. At first I tried a physical journal but I'd forget or I'd already be in bed and wouldn't want to turn the lights back on. Then I found the Grateful app! It's beautifully and simply designed and I haven't missed a day since I downloaded it.

2 / For my cousins' Secret Santa, I put these Dr. Scholl's oxford shoes and I'm so happy my person got them for me! They're even cuter in person and I've gotten a ton of compliments every time I've worn them.

3 / I have been long overdue for a new computer but wasn't willing to spent over $2K on one so I decided to go with the Apple Mac Mini. It's more budget-friendly, way more powerful than my 2014 MacBook Air (not ideal for designers!) and I'm just really happy with it so far.

  2. OH MY GOODNESS! I need to download that Grateful app. I don't know why I didn't do it when I first read this post, but that's definitely happening now!
