Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / "Sunday Chapter began solely as a blog and will always be one." Sunday Chapter is a blog I started following long before her Instagram account shot up in popularity. I love that she acknowledges how her blogging platform still matters to her because that's exactly how I feel about mine.

2 / Author Celeste Ng shared a deeply personal piece on The Cut about the harassment Asian women face when marrying non-Asian men. As an Asian woman (albeit I'm unmarried and honestly haven't really dated much), it was heartbreaking (and a rude awakening) to read about how far the harassment went.

3 / I'm so predictable but The Everygirl wrote about how being single in your 30s can allow for amazing opportunities such as living alone, passion projects, fun hobbies and traveling as much as possible. Things I agree with and relate to!

4 / I adore Liv Purvis of What Olivia Did. Not only is she adorable on Instagram but she's also unafraid to get super real on her blog. She recently talked about skincare which prompted me to looking into the brand Summer Fridays (and buy their two masks).

5 / I've been so lazy with cooking dinner which means every week this month it's been nothing but stir fry because it's so easy to make. A Cup of Joe posted a kale, sausage and beans recipe that I want to try though and hopefully that'll pull me out of my cooking slump!

6 / It's like the The Everygirl knows exactly what I'm going through IRL because they post such relevant articles. This one is about sleep, something I need so much more of these days.

7 / Damsel in Dior gets straightforward by telling us why she thinks social media cleanses are B.S. and quite frankly, I agree with a lot of what she has to say. As with everything else in life, it's all about balance and there can be balance with social media too.

8 / Cupcakes and Cashmere went on a girls' weekend to New Orleans (I love that she's BFFs with Mandy Moore!) and reading about her trip makes me want to go.

Loves

1 / I knew I needed a new hair dryer when the generic one I was using at my hotel in London proved to be 10x better than the one I had at home. I got the Parlux Eco Friendly dryer and I love it! My hair dries much faster and I'm much happier with the results (less frizz, yay!).

2 / It's incredibly hard for me to find joggers that fit well because I'm petite and picky. One of my favorite lifestyle bloggers talked about this pair from Anthropologie and since I trust her opinion (and photos), I decided to give them a try. They fit perfectly, no altering required! Note that only certain colors come in petite.

3 / Monica Vinader is one of my favorite jewelry brands and I'd been eyeing this beautiful bracelet for over a year. They're based in the UK so I made sure to stop by while I was in London and of course, I decided to splurge. But it worked out because it ended up being cheaper thanks to the VAT tax refund non-UK citizens get. I've worn this bracelet every day since.

  1. I love joggers! I've started wearing them more on casual weekends and at home, especially with this cold front, and they're the absolute best. The Uniqlo ones I own are my favorite!
