Links + Loves

Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / Self's post on aiming for "healthy-ish" or "healthy enough" rather than obsessing over every little thing you eat is basically what I've been doing for the last 5 months. (It works!)

2 / New Darlings (who are absolutely adorable) share their thoughts on whether age should define your stage in life. Personally, I say no (and they agree with me!). Sometimes I get hung up on the actual number of my age but I've never been happier or more comfortable with myself than I am in my 30s.

3 / I've heard about how amazing the Casper mattresses are but I don't need a new one and I was skeptical of the hype. Then PopSugar wrote a glowing review of their pillows that had me ordering one right after because I am constantly dealing with neck pain. And omg, it does live up to the hype!

4 / How come only California and Japan get the cool Hello Kitty cafes? New York, you need one ASAP.

5 / If you haven't watched To All the Boys I've Loved Before, you need to fix that immediately. And if you have, then you get why I think Noah Centineo is the dreamiest. A writer at The Cut got to on a "date" with him and well.. you just need to read it.

6 / The Matador Networks shares their list of the sweetest dessert shops in NYC and I can vouch for 5 of the 16. I need to check out the rest!

7 / To anyone who's ever kept in touch with an ex, "The Surprising Thing I Realized After Getting Drinks with an Ex" post on Cupcakes and Cashmere is worth a read.

8 / World of Wanderlust lists the best cities to travel solo in Europe (she's posted something similar before) and they've always inspired me.

Loves

1 / I'm kind of obsessed with puzzles lately. I've done two so far (and I bought a third that I'm saving for a stressful day) but my favorite so far is a 750 piece Little Mermaid puzzle I ordered from Amazon.

2 / I'm currently binging the show Humans and I am super into it. It's so thought-provoking and the acting is top notch. I started watching it because of Gemma Chan (aka Astrid from Crazy Rich Asians) but I stuck with it cause it's a well-done sci-fi show.

3 / I already mentioned the Casper pillow but seriously one of my favorite purchases last month. It was about to time to get at least one real pillow instead of my cheap IKEA ones that I've used for years.

  1. I watched the first season of HUMANS religiously but haven't caught up on the next yet! I can't wait to binge it all this winter haha.

  2. I love puzzles! If you're up for a good challenge, I'd recommend Clemens Habichts! They have a 5000 piece puzzle I've been drooling over for ages, but I haven't been able to justify the price...yet haha
