Links + Loves

Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / "Any place can be a getaway, if it’s out of the ordinary that you experience and you go with eyes of wonder." Love Darling Magazine's thoughts on what counts as a getaway (I totally agreed!) plus foodie spots to check out in SF.

2 / Finally a term for people born in the 80s but don't feel like a millenial or Gxer. In other words, me.  This was 100% on point.

3 / 300 episodes later and my love for Grey's Anatomy hasn't wavered. Shonda Rhimes reflects back on the strong female characters she created and the talented women who helped bring them to life.

4 / PopSugar shares "5 Ways to Cope When Work Stress Just Isn't F*cking Worth It." No commentary from me needed.

5 / I love seeing how other people decorate their homes and this tour on Apartment Therapy is giving me serious house envy.

6 / I have to say, I never paid much attention to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dating. Then they got engaged and I watched their full interview on BBC and I get it now guys. I am totally smitten.

7 / The Financial Diet talks about how to tell the difference between impulse buys and things you genuinely want. I've gotten a lot better at this but the urge to shop when I'm stressed is still strong!

Loves

1 / I was in desperate need of an in-between coat – not as heavy as a winter coat but also not as light as a fall trench. This coat from H&M was exactly what I was looking for.

2 / I have found the perfect lip color and it's called Amoureux in Chanel's Rouge Allure Ink.

3 / Some people are really good about putting on lotion every day but I am not one of them. I never feel like I have time in the morning plus it always feels greasy under my clothes. Then I tried this dry oil by Anderson Lilley. It absorbs quickly, moisturizes (especially now with winter skin, ugh) and smells great.
