Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / Living in Another Language's post on "Why It Is Important to Blog for Yourself" is exactly how I approach my blog.

2 / The Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones is quickly approaching and Mashable suggests watching these 7 episodes before July 16.

3 / Thought Catalog's "The Importance of 3 AM Conversations" reminded me of how Carina and I stayed up until 5AM talking when we were in college.

4 / Dear BFFs, The EveryGirl created a list of 12 trips to take with your best friend. I want to see them all!

5 / One of my favorite romance writers is Karina Halle and I recently stumbled across this post she wrote about how she and her husband met. So sweet!

6 / I often think about taking an adult ballet class and reading this article on PopSugar made me strongly consider it again!

7 / Being creative – whether it's at work, for my blog or fussing around my apartment – is so essential to my every day life. I related a lot to Darling Magazine's take on why you should spend more time being creative.

Loves
1 / When my favorite pair of sandals from Steve Madden finally broke (and couldn't be saved with tape), I knew it was time to replace them. This pair from Sam Edelman looks almost exactly the same but even more comfortable.

2 / Broadchurch is back! I got obsessed with this show last year after a coworker recommended it to me. The first two seasons are on Netflix but the third and final season just premiered last week on BBC America.

3 / I have a bad habit of buying lots of different lip balms and never sticking with any of them. I just bought Maybelline's Baby Lips and I think I may have found the one.

  1. I really liked the post about blogging for yourself! It's something I'm striving really hard to do, to be honest, and it's something I often think about too. I'm hoping to continue shifting my own blog away from being only books and into something that's a bit more of a mix - sort of like yours!
