The Sailor Moon Book Tag

I don't do a lot of book tags but when one of your dearest friends creates one about Sailor Moon, I just couldn't resist. Thanks Alexa for tagging me!

Moon | A book that makes you hungry
If you've read Nowhere But Home by Liza Palmer then you'll completely understand why this is my choice. The main character is a chef and we are privy to many of her recipes throughout the book, which sound mouthwatering.

Mercury | A book that features science and technology
The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood is brimming with science, physics and talk of time travel!

Venus | A book that makes you want to play video games
This is a bit of a stretch but I'm going with Cress (The Lunar Chronicles, #3) by Marissa Meyer. Cress is a master computer hacker after all so her antics kinda make me want to play video games.

Mars | A book inspired by mythology or folklore
So many possibilities but I chose Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier which is loosely inspired by Children of the Lir and The Six Swans.

Jupiter | A book that gave you strong feelings
How to Love by Katie Cotugno. Need I say more?

Saturn | A post apocalyptic book you love
This was a tough one because I've read a bunch of post-apocalyptic books that I love but I'm going with Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi.
Pluto | A time travel book
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle aka the book that introduced me science fiction and time travel.

Uranus | A book featuring elemental magic
I'll always have a soft spot for the Merrick boys in the Elemental series by Brigid Kemmerer. Gabriel from Spark is my favorite!

Neptune | A book featuring music
One of my all-time favorites, Open Road Summer by Emery Lord. I would totally buy albums by Lilah Montgomery and Matt Finch.

Tuxedo Mask | A book with masquerades or hidden identities
Obviously I'm going to say A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (even though ACOMAF is now my favorite of the two!).

Rini/Chibi Moon | A favorite middle grade book
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery isn't just my favorite childrens/middle grade book. It's just a favorite, period.

Luna, Artemis & Diana | A book for animal lovers
In The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson, the main character becomes a dog walker and discovers a newfound love of animals.
