Book Boy Roulette

Once upon a time, we were all texting about the men of Sarah J. Maas. As you might know, it's almost impossible to choose a favorite... but we definitely each have one. In arguing our case, we realized how much fun it was to compare our taste in book boys. And so, we bring you Book Boy Roulette.

Alexa and I decided to team up with our friends Hannah & Kelly to talk about who our favorite book boys are! Each of us will feature three different series on our blogs, and reveal each other’s choices for that particular series, as well as our own. All these guys are seriously swoon worthy but we each picked one and talked about why he’s our favorite.

But we also want to hear from you! Do you agree with our choices... or does another fella have your heart?

BOOKS IN THE SERIES: Sugar Daddy, Blue-Eyed Devil, Smooth Talking Stranger, Brown-Eyed Girl

I read this series thanks to Alexa and Kelly’s book pushing (series review will be up tomorrow!) and I am so happy I read it. I enjoyed every single book and the question from the beginning was — who will my favorite guy be? At first, I really thought it would be Gage Travis from Sugar Daddy. That is, until I read Brown-Eyed Girl and met Joe Travis. He utterly charmed me from the moment he appeared and the book is filled with swoon-worthy moments.

BOOKS IN THE SERIES: Chasing Jordan, Stealing Parker, Things I Can’t Forget, Racing Savannah, Breathe Annie Breathe, Jesse’s Girl

I’ve been a big fan of this series and increasingly impressed with the characters Miranda creates. But Jeremiah was the first of her guys to really make me stand up and take notice. I loved his playful nature but at the same time, how he could just as easily be serious and just so understanding and supportive of Annie. It was very easy to see why she fell for him!

SERIES #3: Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
BOOKS IN THIS SERIES: Pushing the Limits, Dare You To, Crash Into You, Take Me On

After reading all four books, my favorite guy has never wavered! And that is Noah Hutchins. The intensity of his feelings towards Echo and the way he openly admired her and never shied away from her scars made me love him. (I could’ve done without all the siren references but hey, he can’t be totally perfect.)

Final question before I tell you check out everyone else's posts:
Who is my #1 book boyfriend?

This shouldn't come as a surprise to any of my friends when I say Daemon Black from the Lux series. As soon as Daemon and Katy engaged in some not-so-friendly banter (and obviously fighting attraction at the same time), I was hooked. I love so many things about him. The depth of his feelings for Katy, his willingness to face anything to protect her, their back and forth, his romantic and tender side, his snark and even the moments when he can be kind of an asshole (which are usually towards other people, not Katy). If he's not making me swoon, then he's making me laugh and I love that combination.

Now, check out the rest of our Book Boy Roulette
on Alexa, Hannah and Kelly's blogs!

  1. I am so glad I read this post because I didn't realize all of those Miranda Kenneally are a series! Thank goodness I didn't start with the wrong book!

  2. I appreciate the fact that no one else tried to claim Hardy or Ryan. Just saying! True friendship is when you don't have to share your book boyfriends... Or when you're actually willing to do so ;)
