Project Ice Cream Continues!

By now, you all should know that I have a list of ice cream places in NYC that I want to try and have been making lots of progress this past summer. Now it's officially fall and most likely my little project will be on hold soon (I think I can still squeeze in a few more places!). But before that happens, I wanted to share my latest ice cream adventures.

1. Wooly's Ice Cream
What I love about their ice cream is that it's SO light and refreshing! The ice cream is shaved and you can add a wide variety of toppings. When it's first handed to you, it seems huge because they're very generous with their portions but because it's shaved, it doesn't feel heavy at all.

2. The Original Chinatown Ice Cream Factory
Their menu cracks me up. So under "regular" flavors, they have things like lychee, black sesame, pandan, red bean, durian, thai iced tea, taro and more. But under their "exotic" flavors, they have vanilla, strawberry, coffee, chocolate chip, etc. In other words, they are known for their interesting Asian-inspired flavors! This is one of my favorites and I loved the lychee ice cream I got. If you go, get something from their "regular" flavors!

3. 10Below Ice Cream 
This place has been getting a lot of attention in NYC this past summer and for good reason. It's thai style where the ice cream is rolled (I feel like I never describe the process right, so check out this video). Of all the places I tried this summer, this is my #1. I got the Cookie Monster with oreos on top and it was amazing.

4. Sundaes & Cones
This was one of the bigger and cuter ice cream places that I've been too. I got taro and chocolate chip in a waffle cone (that might sound like a strange combo but it was SO good!). And while there were places to sit indoors, Alexa (who was with me to check out all the places I've mentioned so far!) and I opted to sit out on the bench to eat and chat.

5. Double Dippers 
Bonus! This place is not located in NYC but in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Still, it's totally worth mentioning! Especially because I got the salted caramel truffle ice cream and it is as delicious as it sounds. If you're ever in that area, that's the ice cream shop you should go to.
