BookBags (21): Winter Edition

Monthly feature where I pair books with bags or share what's in a bag (mine or otherwise!) est. 4/2013.

When I had the idea to do winter books for this month's BookBags, I figured it would be easy. But you know what? Aside from Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, I completely blanked! I can name a dozen summer books but winter.. not so much. So it was fun to go through my books to remember which ones would fit this theme.

(1) Lovely, Dark and Deep + Mini M.A.C.

I had forgotten how gorgeous the cover of this book is. Lovely, Dark and Deep is a somber, honest book with a slower, more introspective pace. And I think the bag I chose matches it very nicely. Same purple with a bit of shimmer that I think goes well with the snow on the cover. 

(2) The Tragedy Paper + Lita Street Andrea

The Tragedy Paper is one of those books that took me completely by surprise. It alternates between two guys' point-of-views and was compelling plus mysterious. As soon as I saw this tote on Kate Spade, I knew it would go with this cover. 

(3) Dash & Lily's Book of Dares + Jet Set Travel Tote

Dash & Lily's Book of Dares is such a fun book to read around this time of year. It takes place in NYC and features a sweet romance that begins in a bookstore. I knew I wanted to find a bag that matched at least two of the colors on the cover and this tote from Michael Kors was the one.
