This is one of those songs that fools you into thinking it's really chill (especially with that beat!) but if you listen to the lyrics, it's actually about something much deeper. It's about wanting to be enough for someone but feeling like you aren't. Feeling like the person you want doesn't think you're good enough either. I think we all struggle with that feeling at times. It just seemed to fit the weird mood I've been in lately. (And no, I'm not all mopey over anyone in particular! I've just had a lot of mind these last few weeks.) A friend of mine mentioned how a lot of her songs do well as slow songs. I've only heard two but I can definitely agree with this song.
