I Met Jennifer L. Armentrout!

Last Tuesday, Alexa and I made our way over to the Columbia University Bookstore for a New Adult authors event with -- Cora Carmack, Jay Crownover and.. Jennifer L. Armentrout. Also known as, one of my favorite authors ever. If you know me and/or read my blog, then you know how I'm a huge fan of her books. I've read all her young adult plus her new adult (and adult) romance/urban fantasy novels, which are written under the pseudonym J. Lynn. I had never met her before so I was really, really excited.

Alexa and I showed up a little late to the event but as soon we got there, I felt immediately pulled into the conversation. And that's what the talk felt like. One big conversation with these three authors who were all funny, cute and appreciated hot men (Theo James! Pepe!). I enjoyed hearing them talk about their books, Harry Potter, TV, how they feel about book-to-movie adaptations and more.



Then it was my turn to actually meet Jen. She asked if we had met before because I looked familiar (I told her we've tweeted, ha!). She was super nice and down-to-earth. And when I fangirl'ed over her books, she asked me who was my favorite guy.

This was a really fun event and my first bookish one this year. I'd say I'm off to a good start!

(P.S. I bought and read Rule by Jay Crownover this past weekend because of the event and enjoyed it! I'm planning to meet the rest of the Marked Men soon.)
