Rachel & Carina's Infinite Playlist (15)

RACHEL • "Dance Card" by Pepper Rabbit
A couple weeks ago, I was tweeting with Jamie about music and one of the recommendations she gave me was Pepper Rabbit. When I looked them up on Spotify, my eyes immediately zoned in on the name of their album - Red Velvet Snow Ball. If you know me, then you know how much I love all things red velvet. It was like a sign that I would like this band's sound. And I do! I decided to share this song in particular because it's the one I've had on repeat on all week.  But also, there was this moment during my commute home. I was just looking out the window when this song started playing. And I just leaned back, closed my eyes and let it wash over me. I stayed that until the end of the song and I thought to myself - yup, this is definitely going to be my pick this week. I hope you like it!

CARINA • "The Air That I Breathe" by The Hollies
One of the main things that gets me hooked on a movie, besides the storyline, is the soundtrack. I think they go hand in hand, but the music is what usually makes a pretty good movie amazing for me. I recently watched "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley and though I thought the storyline was okay, (it has its cute and quirky moments), what caught my attention was this one scene (I still can't get over it) with this song playing. Originally, I was thinking of putting a clip of that particular scene but I don't think it will have the same effect. Enjoy the song and if you're in the mood, go watch the movie!

  1. Rachel, this is my first time hearing Pepper Rabbit but I think you can most definitely count me as a fan of their music! And Carina, I couldn't agree with you more about the music in movies. There have actually been a few movies that I've seen which sucked rather hard core but I continued you watching because the music was really great!
