meadowlands flea market

I went to the Meadowlands Flea Market on Saturday with my two cousins.  I've never been to it before so I thought it might be fun to check out.  I was a little skeptical when I got there because some of the booths looked a bit sketchy but as you move closer and closer to the center, the booths get bigger and better.  Not to mention - food! A bunch of ice cream trucks, sweet corn, kebobs, hot dogs, tacos, fried oreos, Philly cheese steaks.  It was like going to a carnival.  You also see a lot of interesting people.  At least I did.  There a was guy walking around with a bird on his shoulder.  A woman pushing her rabbit in a stroller (she also put the poor bunny in a dress).  Actually, a lot of people were carrying their dogs around in strollers too.  Is this some new trend I don't know about? 

All in all, it was just a beautiful day.  The sun was out and shining the whole time.  Which is probably why I got sunburned (and somehow, on only half my body!).  I think I want to check out another flea market but maybe in NY though.  They've got to have some good ones, right?
