Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / Sara Bareilles and Alicia Keys performed duets of some of their greatest hits at City of Hope's 2019 Spirit of Life Gala and wow, some of the clips PopSugar shared legit gave me chills.

2 / I love how this writer for Cupcakes & Cashmere turned around her blah week. It's sort of what I try to do? But for me it's usually making plans with friends but I think I should try her approach too!

3 / As I get older, I often think about how to live my life without regrets and try to take more chances (hence my solo trip to London last year!). Darling Magazine shared "six common regrets people have and how to avoid having them yourself."

4 / AirBnb revealed a list of 20 destinations to visit next year based on where people are booking most. The results were surprising! (Except Tokyo which I'm thinking I need to do sooner rather than later!)

5 / I'm still 100% avoiding dating apps and I feel no regrets about that. However, this EveryGirl post about how "dating apps are changing our brains" was a super interesting read.

6 / My two recent Instagram account obsessions: @juliaroseboston (I've never enjoying unboxings this much before) and @refugeingrief (an account dedicated to one woman's journey with grief, which has been a source of comfort to me).

7 / The Tenth Doctor and Thirteenth Doctor are teaming up and it's a Doctor Who dream I didn't realize I had.

8 / I was starting the process of adopting a cat when I found out I'm allergic. I'm super bummed about it but right before I got the unfortunate news, I happened to read the sweetest kitten adoption story on A Cup of Jo

9 / I adore Emma Watson but when I saw her trending on Twitter for saying she was "self-partnered" instead of "single," it rubbed me the wrong way but I couldn't verbalize why. Thankfully, Jezebel knew exactly what to say.

Loves
1 / My best friend planned a spa getaway for us this weekend and I'm so excited! Of course, I decided that I "needed" a weekender bag for our trip to upstate New York and this one is so cute! Great size and very affordable.

2 / I love cozy slippers to wear around at home, especially as the weather gets colder. I saw these slippers from Stars Above (one of my favorite Target brands!) and couldn't resist buying them.

3 / I got a sample of this Dphue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse as a sample from Sephora and I was very, very skeptical. So you can imagine my surprise when I tried it and saw how soft it made my hair. It stripped all the residue from my daily hair products, without over-drying it.

  1. That Darling magazine article is incredibly thought-provoking! I'm glad you shared it, as I feel like it's something that made me stop and reflect on my own life. And I'm tentatively curious about that apple cider hair rinse! It doesn't sound like something I'd have picked up, but the effect it has on your hair is making me curious.
