What I'm Listening to | April

Each month I'll share five songs I'm loving at the moment and hopefully you'll find a song or two (or all of them!) to love as well.

I'm sharing a couple extra songs this month because so many good tunes came out since I shared my last playlist!

Alone - Hasley, Big Sean, Stefflon Don | This has been my go-to pick-me-up song these last few weeks and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Clearly - Grace VanderWaal | I love her take on this old song! I didn't recognize it at first but the moment she starts belting out "I can see clearly now", I immediately added it to my playlist.

Never Say Die - CHVRCHES | Every single they've released so far has made it onto a playlist. Is it May 25 yet?

Changed My Mind - Tove Styrke | I was at a family friend's birthday dinner a few weeks ago and his girlfriend was in charge of music. I disliked about 70% of the songs she played but when "On the Low" came on, I had to ask her what it was. I ended up looking up more songs by Tove Styrke and this is currently my fave.

Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays - Unknown Mortal Orchestra | I was struggling to come up with a phrase to describe their music but luckily Google provided me with an answer and it's psychedelic rock. I can't think of another band with their same vibe and I'm super into it.

Coldplay - David Ryan Harris | He was the opening act for James Bay and while I usually have very low expectations for openers, he was actually pretty great. Of his set, this was my favorite.

Sky Full of Song - Florence + the Machine | It's been too long since Florence released a new song and this one is so good.

I played this song 50+ times in the last 30 days ☺
