The Happiest Place on Earth

Obviously we had to get Minnie ears and
Micky Mouse ice cream!
I FINALLY WENT TO DISNEY WORLD.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical as to how going to Disney World for the first time as an adult would feel like. But you know what? The minute I saw Cinderella's Castle, I felt my inner child and Disney fangirl just geek out at the sight of it. Whether you're a kid, a teen or an adult in your 30s, there is something truly magical about this place and I couldn't be happier that I went with my BFF to experience it.

There was so much to see and do so I'm glad we were prepared with a list of rides to check out and restaurants to eat at without going overboard with an itinerary. I'd say half the time we kind of winged it, which worked out perfectly. And I can't say enough how awesome it was to stay at the actual park. Disney really makes it so easy and convenient to let them take care of everything while we get to run out and play. Also, 80 degree weather, how I've missed you!

Here are some of my favorite photos from our trip:

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter which was really nice and super convenient. Then Epcot was our first park to check out. The "golf ball" is pretty awesome in person and we had a lot of fun on Spaceship Earth. Our favorite ride here was Soarin'
The World Showcase! We enjoyed walking around to check out the different countries and of course, eat different food. We had dinner at Chef de France and ice cream from L'Artisan des Glaces. Both of which I highly recommend.
A night time shot of the golf ball (the colors!) and then the next day, we explored Magic Kingdom.
Cinderella's Castle! • We had breakfast at Be Our Guest.
Loved the interior of this restaurant. If you love Beauty and the Beast, this is a must.
Tangled (Carina's favorite princess) and Little Mermaid (my #1 favorite and Carina's #2). But surprisingly our favorite ride was Snow White's!
Sleeping Beauty is another Disney classic that I consider one of my top three. Afterwards we spend a couple hours at Animal Kingdom exploring. The Tree of Life is a sight in person!

And with that I leave you with one final photo of Cinderella's Castle! I can't say enough how much I loved this trip and I'm already thinking about when I can go back. Have you been to Disney? I'd love to hear your stories!

Special thanks to Estelle for answering all my questions!
