Links + Loves

Here are some non-bookish articles I really liked this past month and my latest loves.

Links
1 / When I saw this post on Apartment Therapy about blush being the new gray, it made me realize how many blush-colored items I own. Gotta love when you're accidentally on trend!

2 / The title of Darling Magazine's post is a bit misleading. It's not so much that you're better off alone but more about the importance of enjoying your own company.

3 / World of Wanderlust went to the Hello Kitty dim sum place in Hong Kong and I am so jealous.

4 / I'm not in the same situation as this person but I did relate to this line: "[She] didn’t think twice about treating herself to things like apartment furnishings and expensive nights out — she felt she 'deserved them' for working so hard." That can definitely spiral out of control.

5 / Again, not in the same situation as the woman in "What I learned from a 'Snapchat affair' with an old flame" but some parts did resonate. Mostly about how the social media can create a false sense of closeness. It's a tricky line!

6 / It's like A Girl, Obsessed read my mind when she posted "Fun Workouts for Apartment Living". I constantly worry about disturbing my neighbors!

7 / Please, please, please let there be a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 3! Blake, America, Amber and Alexis have all talked about it!

Loves

1 / Carina and I recently got Fitbit Altas together and I am obsessed! I've had it a little over a week and have since incorporated ways to add more walking to my day.

2 / I was eyeing the Longchamp Hobo for months because I thought it would be perfect for my trip. I decided not to get it but then a really great sale changed my mind. And I love it.

3 / I was looking for something just like this so I was excited to see it at South Moon Under.

  1. I would LOVE a third Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie!! It would be so nice to have all the ladies together again, and I would love to see more of the girls of the Sisterhood ;)
